Ocean Cay’s development reflects MSC Cruises’ long-term commitment to environmental restoration. 

Once a former sand extraction site, the island has been transformed through a comprehensive regeneration programme. Over 7,500 tons of scrap metal have been removed, marine debris cleared from the seabed, and coral relocated to encourage long-term marine renewal. Employees working on the island contribute directly to maintaining and protecting this environment, while sharing its story with guests.
